Tr aining & Ongoing Support
Initial Training:
A new franchisee will receive two full weeks of training, including hands on and classroom training, at Monster Tree headquarters in Cornelius, NC. We also provide an additional follow-up week of training during Launch -the first week the franchise is in business.
Monster Tree has accounts with major national and industry specific job boards where they post proven job ads at ZEROcost to the franchisees. They then screen all applicants for quality and provide the franchisee with a list of qualified potential employees for the franchisee to interview.

Most of the accidents you hear about are from unsafe "mom and pop" businesses with poor equipment or practices. We start with new equipment and emphasize safety on a daily basis.
Our insurance process is dialed in so that the franchisee can just check the box, this covers them for all liability with the business and workers comp covers franchisees from any accident.
Market is Saturated with Competition
Local "mom and pop" tree companies that dominate the industry do not have the ability to generate leads like Monster Tree Service does on a national level. In fact, the more competition you have the better it is! If there are a lot of local service providers that just tells us the demand for Tree Service in the market is high. What To Expect
Our discovery process is thorough and efficient. You will be kept fully up to date as your candidate moves through the steps. The process can be completed in 4-7 weeks if the candidate can meet with us for at least 1 hour per week.
We guide candidates through an interactive education process. We get to know the candidate personally, including motivations for starting a business and understanding their long-term objectives.
Step 1: Introduction - We meet the candidate, explore their goals and briefly introduce the brand.
Step 2: Webinar Presentation - Education on Monster Tree Service through a deeper dive into who, what, how and why. We will review national talent recruitment, marketing, purchasing power and technology.
Step 3: FDD/ Territory Discussion - We will walk them through the FDD to gain strong understanding of the initial investment, ongoing financial responsibilities, and potential earnings.
Step 4: Validation - We set up 2-4 calls with different franchise owners to learn more about the brand and both the semi-absentee and owner operator models. A proforma will be provided for the candidate to complete during validation. They will also speak with our Vice President of Operations.
Step 5: MYTD - Candidate's opportunity to meet the team that will support them going forward. This is also where the Monster Tree Service team will have a chance to provide feedback on the candidate to be sure it is a fit for both parties.
Step 6: Contract - Once approval is given, we send agreements, capture signatures and collect franchise fees.
Step 7: Onboarding - The candidate will now begin the process of onboarding with the operations team who will guide them through launch.
