Homewatch CareGivers was founded in 1980 on the principles of delivering high-quality and compassionate care to people who need home care services. Today our Franchisees carry on those principles, from providing the assistance that helps people age, rehabilitate, or recover at home; to providing peace of mind for clients and their loved ones; to leaving a lasting impact on their communities and their families.
Our franchise owners provide full-service home care to people of all ages.
Homewatch CareGivers Total Care Solutions™ is an all-inclusive suite of services offered designed to provide personalized care to clients and their families. The comprehensive care services encompass daily social engagement as well as clinical expertise, delivering personalized healthcare assistance to clients right in the comfort of their own homes.
Function of the owner:
The franchise owner is responsible for managing the strategic direction of their business and for creating a positive, client-centric culture. A typical day in the life of a franchise owner can vary greatly. This can include running staff meetings, reviewing monthly operational costs, visiting referral sources, or greeting a new crop of caregivers at new hire orientation.
Primary responsibilities of the franchise owner include:
Work with Franchise Support Center to establish strategic plan to meet financial and operational goals
Delegate all day-to-day activities, including caregiving and scheduling, to appropriate staff
Ensure effective and ongoing, on-the-job training of team members, evaluate individual and team performance and make appropriate developmental recommendations
Homewatch CareGivers is looking for compassionate, goal-oriented people with a desire to help others and make a difference in their communities. Strong management and leadership skills are preferred. We find that people with marketing, sales or operations experience are well suited for this industry. We also look for individuals with high, long-term income goals who are equally interested in improving the lives of others.
This often comes from a personal experience with home care for a loved one. Other traits we look for are strong people skills, the required amount of capital, financial stability, business/management background, the motivation and desire to succeed, and the willingness to follow a proven franchise system.
Medical and healthcare experience is not necessary.
